Following the success of the first International Cycling History Conference to be staged in Australia (Canberra 2003), it was decided that we could run our own local version.

In 2003? the first Australian Cycling History Conference was held in Canberra.

Two years later the conference ran in Geelong, Victoria, and in 2007? it was Melbourne's turn.

Planning was well underway for a conference in Christchurch, NZ. in 2011, when news of the tragic earthquake there put those plans of hold.

No further ACHC events have since been held.
