The late Annemarie Driver was an energetic and far sighted woman who was behind the establishment of the Canberra Bicycle Museum. A regular attendee at international cycling history conferences, she proposed that one be held in Canberra, and despite some naysayers, she produced one of the best ever International Cycling History Conferences, and set the scene for a subsequent series of Australasian Cycling History Conferences.
